Each individual has immense potential and is capable of doing much more than what they think they can, however, some succeed in tapping into their potential and some don’t. And then there are of a lot of us who are trying hard to succeed in areas which are not ours to succeed. We keep trying and trying and pushing ourselves in the wrong direction, towards a life which doesn’t even excite us. We keep living that life waiting for the D-day, dreaming about that ideal life and hoping to achieve it one day. That never happens because we don’t take any action to bring that much-needed change.

Often we want to change our situation but are not able to because we

  • Doubt our capabilities
  • Don’t have clarity of our goals
  • Don’t have a clear plan to achieve what we want
  • Keep procrastinating
  • Don’t have the motivation or commitment to walk that journey
  • Afraid of taking risk
  • Restricting yourself because of your limiting beliefs and limitations

As a result, you feel stuck

As Timothy Gallway says “The opponent in one’s own head is more formidable than the one on the other side”. To bring that positive change towards a balanced and more fulfilling life you need to conquer your inner obstacles that are in your control. When you do that you will see immense possibilities opening up for you to choose.

Coaching is the process of unlocking your potential of being magnificent. It’s a partnership between a coach and a client to help the client get clarity on their goals and take actions towards that, enabling them to maximize their potential whether it is at personal level or professional.

It’s an exploratory process wherein the coach will explore the client’s thoughts by asking relevant questions and help them identify and define their purpose, focused goals, skill and capabilities, challenges that are holding them back, defining actions to take and holding them accountable for taking those actions. During this process, the Coach provides active support and encouragement to take action.

Coaching is not a remedial intervention wherein coach prescribes solutions. Coach is a support and not a driver in your journey to self-actualization. Mostly it’s about exploring new possibilities and overcoming challenges by taking actions to achieve important goals. The coach will help you make that change you so want by pushing you outside of your comfort zone as you walk the journey. The focus is not on achieving the big goals directly but working towards big goals by taking small steps and most importantly celebrating your successes during that journey making success a habit and gaining confidence. It’s like parents teaching their child to ride a bicycle. They hold the bicycle from the back to prevent it from falling and the child does the rest. That reinforces success in the mind of the child and builds their confidence.

Coaching is motivational, inspiring, positive, exciting and action-driven. It helps the client to identify and bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be through self-introspection and exploration.
